THE FUTURE OF POND FILTRATION: The Profidrum & The Dracodrum
I myself have fitted a PROFIDRUM filter to my 100,000 litre pond. If not the first drum filter, then one of the first to be installed on a koi pond in Australia. That allowed me to remove 4 other pieces of traditional filter with an estimated cost of A$11000). My Profidrum, was much less than that. I fitted it in 3 hours with friends and I have never had better water quality, with no filter cleaning whatsoever! This is a bold statement I know but I personally would never build another pond over 10,000 without fitting a drum filter.
Building a pond can be expensive at any quality level or size that is why AussieKoiWA offers two levels of drum filter availability to Australian pond hobbyists. Please note, prices stated do not include Oz freight costs should they be required.
We are the Australian agents for both ProfiDrum and Dracodrum.
Both are European manufactured and the Profidrum is lauded for its engineering and reliability worldwide.
The DracoDrum is available in both ‘drop in’ mod where it can be easily fitted to a current filtration set up. It is also available in ‘stand alone’ mod.
THE LATEST A BIOCHAMBER/DRUM COMBINATION FOR BOTH THE SOLUM 16 AND 25; WHICH TAKES CARE OF BOTH MECHANICAL AND BIOLOGICAL FILTRATION. MAXIMUM WATER PUMPING 16K PER HOUR AND 20K PER HOUR RESPECTIVELY FOR THE SOLUM 16 & 25. Good for ponds to 40,000litres
NEWS FLASH:- Currently completing 4 months of trials and due for release in 1st quarter 2021 is a new MAXI DRUM capable of 50,000litres per hour with 58 micron drum stainless cloth. I have two on order.
These units will amaze you with their innovation. For example they can be fully installed without an electrician or plumber. They continue in the drum filter tradition giving superior water quality at a very respectable price.
Drum Filters: do not build a pond without considering hands-off, reliable filtration and a very economical price.
PLEASE NOTE, Due to significant price increases in International freight both air and sea freigh, as a result of Cronovirus AussiekoiWA has had no option but to increase prices for international sourced equipment. We have not passed this on fully at this time but may have no option but to do so in the future. So sorry!
PLEASE NOTE DRACODRUM PRICE RISE FROM 1ST FEBRUARY 22 Now for the Price rises- Effective 1st February 2022
As we are sure all of you have seen, there have been monthly price rises across the board for literally everything, except for DracoDrum.
Through the last 18 months we have absorbed all of these despite in some areas the rises being horrendous, as an example, plastic prices have increased almost 70%, as we have wanted to try and help everyone through this difficult period However it is not sustainable for us to continue to do so and as such we have had to increase prices for the whole product range. We are continuing to receive price rises from our suppliers on a continuous basis. Despite this, we aim to try and keep our prices stable through 2022 but depending upon the impact, we may have to revisit pricing partway through the year.
